Harvestone Group is pleased to announce Gateway Terminals' acquisition to continue its expansion of marketing, logistics, and trading platform.
FREMONT, CA: Harvestone Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Gateway Terminals LLC, a bulk liquid terminal complex located on the banks of the Mississippi River in Sauget, Illinois, to continue its expansion of marketing, logistics, and trading platform. The terminal, which was established in 2008, has a tank capacity of 400,000 barrels. The terminal is multimodal, with loading and unloading facilities for trucks, rail, and barges and access to multiple Class I railroads.
According to Kevin Stewart of Harvestone, Harvestone's team and shareholders are enthusiastic about this acquisition since it improves the position in essential supply chains, allowing the organization to continue expanding its marketing and trading company both domestically and internationally. The company now has several product sources to integrate through Gateway Terminals, offering increased economics for both the producer partners and end-user clients, with more than 1 billion gallons flowing through the Harvestone platform. The organization has been developing throughout the United States and Canada since its beginning, and this critical facility solidifies its position in some crucial supply chains while providing excellent flexibility.
